DOW Oyster Creek LHC-9 Expansion

The scope of this project involved the installation of two new furnaces, F‑120 and F‑129, adjacent to eight (8) existing furnaces, along with the execution of pre‑turnaround construction activities within the active LHC‑9 unit. Performed for Dow Chemical at the Oyster Creek facility, the project supported the expansion of furnace capacity while maintaining operations in a live process area. This includes substantial structural steel, installation of multiple equipment packages, and the integration of extensive piping systems utilizing carbon steel, stainless steel, and 304H stainless steel materials. Careful coordination and planning were necessary to safely integrate new furnace infrastructure with existing assets as part of the overall LHC‑9 expansion initiative.
