LAO Intake Lines Project

The project supported replacing critical cooling water intake lines in the Mississippi  River without shutting down operations. Cajun designed a custom helical piling system capable of installation under existing overhead lines with as little as 5 feet of clearance, carrying over 75 tons of vertical capacity. This system supported an overhead gantry crane used to replace intake lines section by section, ensuring continuous cooling water supply despite river level challenges and COVID-19 disruptions.
