The Bluebonnet Project encompasses the construction of a new state-of-the-art production facility for Kao Specialties Americas, LLC, located on a cleared brownfield site within an established industrial park in Pasadena, Texas. The development includes all site infrastructure, foundations, structural systems, process piping, mechanical equipment installation, and supporting facilities required to bring the plant into full operational service.

Cajun Industries is serving as both the General Contractor and Construction Manager, providing comprehensive project leadership, coordination, and execution throughout all phases of construction. In addition to managing subcontractors and overall project delivery, Cajun is self-performing several critical scopes of work, including civil construction, deep foundations and piling, aboveground and underground piping systems, and the installation of major mechanical equipment.

The project requires extensive integration of structural, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and utility systems to support the facility’s production operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule performance, and operational readiness.
