Cajun Industries served as the general contractor for Cabot’s TGFG and APC/EC Project, delivering a multi-discipline scope that included mechanical, piping, civil, deep foundations, electrical and instrumentation, structural, and specialty construction services. The project centered on the installation of TGFG ductwork and a state-of-the-art Air Pollution Control system featuring a Thermal Oxidizer, Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG), Steam Turbine Generator (STG), and Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization (WFGD) scrubber to support both emissions reduction and energy generation for the facility’s Energy Center.

Over the course of the 30-month project, Cajun coordinated and executed critical infrastructure improvements, including deep foundations, structural steel, process piping, equipment installation, electrical distribution, controls, and supporting plant systems. With more than 1.3 million manhours worked and a peak workforce of 590 personnel, the project showcases Cajun’s ability to safely deliver complex industrial projects that enhance operational efficiency, environmental performance, and long-term facility reliability.
