Cajun is one of the largest self-performing contractors in the South.

Our core competencies include multi-discipline engineering, civil, structural and mechanical work coupled with specialized expertise in deep foundations, maritime, and pipe fabrication. Our building division is capable of most types of building construction as well as design-build services. We self-perform site preparation, underground utilities, driven piling, augured cast-in-place pilings, drill shafts, foundations, structural concrete, structural steel erection, pipe fabrication, process piping, and rotating equipment installation and alignment. This solid résumé of comprehensive construction disciplines combined with experienced professionals, extensive construction equipment resources, sound financial standing, and a proven track record makes us a dependable and valuable partner.

Deep Foundations

Cajun designs and self-performs a wide range of deep foundation disciplines on both land and water throughout the U.S. and internationally.

We utilize a company-owned fleet of specialized, state-of-the-art equipment that enables us to efficiently produce safe, high quality, and economical deep foundation systems ranging in size from small single-pile to large mega pile.

We offer a full range of standard and limited access to deep foundations design and installation capabilities.

Civil

Cajun’s combination of proven productivity processes, quality project execution and an unparalleled commitment to safety is why we remain one of the leading providers of civil construction services.

We have a strong team of superintendents who specialize in project execution and are supported by a project management staff featuring a wealth of experience on large civil projects. In addition, our team is supported by a large fleet of company-owned equipment and qualified operators. Cajun can provide all services on a lump sum, cost-reimbursable, unit-rate and/or fixed-fee basis.

Pipe Fabrication

Cajun operates a state-of-the-art facility adjacent to I-10 with waterway access for modular fabrication.

We are experienced in a wide array of metallurgy options: carbon, stainless and high alloys with over 100 qualified welding procedures. In addition, we maintain ASME code stamps A, U, and PP, and NBIC code stamp R.

Mechanical

Cajun provides full-service general construction capabilities including mechanical construction.

We excel at large-scale mechanical construction projects and provide a wide array of turnaround services for a variety of industries. Our turnkey services include early involvement constructability, cost-control and earned progress programs, detailed planning and project scheduling, fabricated pipe spool tracking systems, and planning for systems turnover and commissioning.

Marine Construction

Cajun is a key player in the marine construction market providing turnkey services from design and construction through mechanical completion.

We service and construct numerous types of projects ranging from the lower Mississippi River and its tributaries to coastal and offshore waters. Cajun specializes in marine projects that demand intensive planning and constructability reviews, and intricate construction. We are rooted in safety and feature company-owned equipment including ocean-class barges that allow us to operate safely and in compliance with regulations when working outside of the line of demarcation.
