Cajun Constructors, Inc. Receives $237,680,948 Contract from the USACE - Friday, February 26, 2010

On February 23, 2010, Cajun Constructors, Inc., a subsidiary of Cajun Industries, LLC, received a project award from The United States Army Corps of Engineers in the amount of $237,680,948. This includes a base contract for preconstruction services and two unexercised options for construction services. The award is for work on the Chalmette Loop Levee, Highway 46 to River (Verret to Caernarvon), Reach 148.02 in St. Bernard, Louisiana. Cajun has recently constructed over 20,000 linear feet of other floodwall in the New Orleans area. Cajun’s headquarters are located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. |
