Cajun Receives Three National Awards - Thursday, November 19, 2009

On June 24th, ABC recognized the nation’s top 2008 construction projects at a celebration in Washington, D.C. Cajun took home three of the awards presented at the Excellence in Construction and National Safety Excellence Awards banquet.
Cajun Maritime, LLC received an ABC Eagle Award for the Chevron GOM SMI 217 Debottlenecking/Flatrock Development, South Marsh Island 217 Gulf of Mexico. This project was the winner of the “other specialty Construction- More than $1 Million” category.
Cajun Constructors, Inc. and Cajun Deep Foundations, LLC each took home an ABC Pyramid award for outstanding performance on a 2008 project. The Verenium Corporation-Cellulosic Ethanol Demonstration Plant took the honors in the industrial $25-$100 million category.
In the “Other Specialty Construction – Less than $1 Million” category, the Sawmill 69kV substation project performed by Cajun Deep Foundations received the Pyramid Award.
