Cajun Receives Valero HCU Program Project

Cajun received the contract to perform all civil and underground piping work for the HCU project at the Valero - St. Charles Refinery. Cajun will be teaming with Fluor Enterprises, who will provide engineering and site management services, and working directly with Valero to construct the project.
The scope of the project includes approximately 20,000 cy of structural concrete,
fabrication and installation of 14,000 lf of underground piping systems, 56,000 cy of backfill and all electrical grounding services. Cajun will also manage the procurement of all major purchases relating to this scope of work. All work for this project will take place within the plant facility adjacent to operating units.
Cajun anticipates peak manpower of 150 craftsmen and women.
