Cajun is both Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliant and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) ready and assists clients in three separate categories of disaster preparedness and emergency response: management services, construction and repair, and support activities. We provide a wide range of capabilities from facility and site management to a variety of marine construction services from temporary housing to heavy equipment/materials transportation. We can also provide many additional disaster preparedness capabilities such as Architectural & Engineering (A&E) services, food services, dredging and material stockpiling.
When it comes to a response, Cajun is strong, agile and cost-effective, and is equipped for immediate mobilization, whether on a national or regional basis. Cajun has built a team of veterans who have the project management and logistics experience to properly prepare and execute the appropriate response and recovery plan. We also have the manpower and capacity to get the job done when days and even hours are critical.
Whenever possible, we avoid an over-layered, multi-tiered response team, thereby streamlining management, improving communication and lowering total project cost. We excel because of our meticulously maintained fleet of vehicles and equipment, our federally qualified status and our award-winning commitment to safety. Cajun has completed its voluntary National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification and is registered with the FEMA Industry Liaison Program. Cajun also has the capability to transition from initial emergency response to rebuilding and repair efforts.
